Often known as the Swiss Cheese Plant or Monkey Mask, the Monstera adansonii resembles its larger relative, the Monstera deliciosa. The main distinction lies in its smaller size and preference for trailing vines. Its heart-shaped, textured leaves are a vibrant dark green with delicate, papery thin fenestrations. Like other Monstera species in the Araceae family, the adansonii is easy to care for and low-maintenance.
